Matagorda Beach will start to feel the effects of this storm this afternoon as it moves toward Matagorda Bay. Beware of strong riptides today through Wednesday as well as higher than normal tides. At some point this will push tides all the way into the dunes. Dont get trapped down beach when the water comes up.
