FM521 Park

521 Park is a small park with a boat Ramp and fishing dock on the Colorado River north of Matagorda. This is great site to put in for an all day paddle down river to Matagorda Beach. There is no usage fee.

Great information!

Just curious why the city does not work on the public entry to the beach so vehicles can get in. We are staying in a house with beach access but want to drive the beach. We do not have a 4x4. We visit here twice a year and its always a toss up whether we can drive on the beach or not.

Thanks for the report
